How Medical Screening Works
A streamlined, accredited process that certifies every candidate before they travel.
Step 1 — Appointment Booking
Once candidates are shortlisted, we schedule medical appointments at GAMCA-approved or government-accredited facilities. Group bookings for bulk recruitment orders are coordinated to minimise waiting times.
Step 2 — Clinical Examination
A licensed physician conducts a full-body physical examination covering cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, and neurological systems, assessing each candidate's fitness for their specific role and destination.
Step 3 — Laboratory & Diagnostic Tests
Blood tests, urinalysis, chest X-ray, and infectious disease panels (HIV, hepatitis B & C, tuberculosis, malaria) are conducted in accredited laboratories. Results are typically available within 48–72 hours.
Step 4 — Vaccination & Immunisation
Required vaccinations per destination country regulations are administered and documented. This includes COVID-19 protocols, meningitis vaccination for Saudi Arabia, and any additional immunisations mandated by the employer or embassy.
Step 5 — Digital Report Issuance
Tamper-proof, digitally signed medical fitness certificates are issued and transmitted directly to the employer and relevant embassy portals. Fit candidates proceed immediately to visa processing.
Medical Screening FAQ
The screening includes a full physical examination, chest X-ray, complete blood count, liver and kidney function tests, urinalysis, and infectious disease panels covering HIV, hepatitis B & C, tuberculosis, and malaria. Vaccinations required by the destination country are also administered.
The examination itself takes a few hours. Laboratory results and the final fitness certificate are typically ready within 3–5 working days. Expedited processing can be arranged for urgent deployments.
If a candidate is found unfit, we notify the employer immediately and provide a replacement from our pre-vetted pool at no additional sourcing cost. The candidate receives a detailed report and guidance on available treatment options.
Yes. All candidates destined for GCC countries — Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman — are examined at GAMCA-approved centres. The GAMCA fitness certificate is a mandatory requirement for GCC work visa issuance.
